My boys loved the lightsaber's until one of them broke about 2 days after getting it. I will order another one because they have such a great time playing StarWars.

Nice, but doesn't light upNov 08, 2011
By HokieKel My son enjoyed having the light saber to complement his Anakin Skywalker Halloween costume, but was disappointed that it did not light up. I ordered it quickly and missed this little detail, apparently. So to all parents purchasing this light saber, it does NOT in fact light up. :) Hope that this review helps others from making this all too frequent parental error :)

It's ok... It's exactly like the lightsaber toys you can find at Wal Mart or Target or any Dollar Store around Halloween... Mine hasn't broken yet and lights up fine...
Great idea but poorly designedNov 11, 2009
By KAC I bought this as part of my 8yr old son's Halloween costume. He played with it ONE time (for about 1/2hr) as soon as he got it & it broke (EVEN BEFORE HE GOT TO USE IT WITH HIS COSTUME!!!!). The plastic cap that held the batteries cracked (it was VERY difficult for me to get it on & off to install the batteries to begin with!!) so it wouldn't even light up!! The whole purpose-LIGHTsaber!!!!!!=(
A prop, and nothing moreNov 19, 2008
By M. Robinson I was a little disappointed with this toy. There is a flimsy little clip that holds the saber in the handle that was broke when the toy arrived, but honestly the kids play with it just the same. Not sure what else you would expect for the price, and it looks better that all the others I've seen in the local stores.
