This toy fell apart about 2 seconds after taking out of the packaging. However, it was easily put back together and with a little super glue it should be o.k. for a while. My child enjoys playing with but was disappointed at the fact that it broke so soon.

The Darth Vader Light Saber was GREAT. Grandson loved it as it was different than all the other's he has. GOOD QUALITY, Safe to use. Excellent Price.

We bought a whole deluxe Darth Vadar outfit for Halloween. Out of everything we got (and I did also purchase the voice changer which he did not care for), this was the biggest hit of the night. Excellent purchase for your Star Wars fanatic!

I have bought many lightsabers over the years for my sons. I should have known better because this seemed a little pricey plus I don't trust buying from individuals on Amazon. But, my son had picked this one out for some reason so I bought it.
Shipping costs were WAY too much.
When we got the thing, it didn't look very impressive at all. After a few whacks against another lightsaber, this one actually broke in-two.
A big disappointment.

This lightsaber toy is basically what you would expect it to be. It's very detailed and cool looking. My only problem with it is that the handle is much lighter in weight than other similar lightsaber toys. This makes it feel somewhat "cheap" and does not allow for a sturdy feel when handling it in a play-fighting manner. Mind you, when I say this I am not compairing it to the higher quality lightsaber toys that run in the $20 price range. I am comparing it to the other lightsabers within its price range. So basically, even compared to the other lightsabers in its class, this one feels very low-grade. But that being said, it's still pretty cool. Unless you are really into actively playing with the toy, pretending to do fast jedi style fighting, you might not mind the not-so-sturdy feel of it.
