 Even better than I expected!May 20, 2004
I've always wanted the Ecto 1 to add to my collection and had no idea this was available. This is perfect model with much detail and sturdiness. If you're wondering if this is worth it...it is! At this price there is no doubt!

There IS a 1:18 scale Ecto 1 available, but THIS IS NOT IT! It retails for about $40.00, so don't buy this expecting a larger 1:18 scale vehicle...you will be dissapointed. Darn shame these vendors can't get the details straight and do their homework. There ARE two versions of this vehicle available and to advertise this one as being the 1:18 scale version is misleading, if not downright false. You will not get the larger 1:18th scale version for this amount of money.

this is a great representation of the mighty ghostbusters' ecto-1, the only problem is while it has been hyped as and here is listed at 1:18 scale, it unfortunately is not. it says clearly on the box when it arrives that it is 1:21 scale. so not only is it not comparable to all your other 1:18 scale vehicles, it is also too large for 1:24 / 1:25 scale vehicles. still it's worth getting, just don't plan on having it look right displayed with other "actual" 1:18 scale vehicles.
